Options 1 through 5 are directional -- ALL lights go off when the train is running in reverse.

Options 6 & 7 are partly non-directional.  The headlight is directional but the tail light and interior lights are non-directional.

Note:  the headlight and front Mars Light are white LEDs.  The tail light is accomplished using fiber optics driven by a red LED.  Interior lights are distributed yellow LEDs.  Non-directional tail lights and interiors can not be provided with Mars lights.

INSTALLATION requires the use of a #55 drill bit to create 0.052" holes for the LEDs, and a #65 drill bit to create a 0.035" hole for the tail light fiber optics.  Richmond Controls can supply these drill bits for $2.00 each.

All kits use the four circuit board traces already provided in the floors by Fine N-Scale to conduct power from the front of the train to the trailing cars.  Two are used for motor power and two are used for lighting.
